New Scam Alert: Fake Letters Via US Mail

Yahoo News reported:  

The Federal Trade Commission issued a warning about a scam coming to your mailbox.

It comes as a letter in the mail from a "law firm" about unclaimed insurance money.  The letter asks you to call a phone number.

"The end game for the scammer is to get you on the phone, where they're going to ask for personal information, maybe your social security number or even bank account information," Miller said.
