New Scam Alert: Mail Worker Charged with Check Fraud

A U.S. postal worker was arrested and charged with stealing over 200 pieces of mail that was used to commit check fraud in Sugar Land.

After investigators identified Mouton as a suspect, an investigation discovered over 225 pieces of mail in his possession that were addressed to 50 different people, police said. About 66 of them contained check that may have been used to commit forgeries.
